The Laurier Institution Mourns the Passing of Founding Chairman Milton Wong

January 1st 2012

The Wong family announced today Milton K. Wong, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2011 at his family home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

This is a tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Wong family.

Milton Wong was a visionary and a guiding light for our organisation, building it from nothing to a leader in the discussion on issues related to diversity in Canada.

We at the Laurier Institution lost a friend today. A friend who dedicated his life to helping others less fortunate.  He will be missed by all of us.
